Sein Wut Hmone Company has first established its rubber plantation in 1996. In Myanmar’s border area, Ho Pan Township, Kwan Lone Region, with the aim of creating jobs for former opium planters in opium-replacement-plantation project areas, and for the greening of environment, the first rubber plantation in the region with private investment was first implemented with 400 acres.
The 400 acres of rubber were all planted in the year 2000, and in 2004, the rubber latex extraction was able to start, and by 2007, all the acres were able to extract rubber latex.
